MULCH METHOD › RECOMMENDED
Apply 3″ thick on the surface like any other mulch at any time of the season. This will ensure a good weed control.

INCORPORATION METHOD › SEE WARNING
Apply 1″ thick to the surface and slightly incorporate into the first 4 inches of soil. Do not completely bury the mulch.

WARNING
Incorporation accelerates the degradation of Ramea mulch and the creation of humus, but this will result in nitrogen fixation in your soil for the first year. This nitrogen will be released to the plants in subsequent years.
To limit nitrogen deficiency, we recommend:
- To proceed with the incorporation in fall
- And/or amend the soil with organic fertilizers (see table)

There are a multitude of fertilizer products on the market, ask a horticulturist for advice if necessary.
